About This Installation

Single phase 100amp, so choice was limitied Designing without a full repipe over the four floors - 42mm primaries ran on the basement floor to split the load, then using existing 28mm up on the first floor and second floor. Pump selection, running different pipe runs to see what estimated resistance I have and settled with the Wilo Maxos which is my favourite by far pump out there. Control strategy, balancing system performance with non excessive energy use. Eventually settled with a buffer and Evo home running the secondary pump, Heatpump is running via buffer sensor only and either side don’t interact. How water - house was split into two before, Combi and direct cylidner. We opted for a fresh water module, so it late loaded hot water via another 500l buffer. Radiator selection, in keeping with the house build cast irons were preferred but with Heatloss we couldn’t do it everywhere. So we settled for downstairs with cast rads and then k3 radiators upstairs to satisfy a 50° flow temp. Expansion I chose 4x 18l Staticos and charge pressure of 1.5 because of head height. Best vessel on the market in my opinion, no idea why anyone would use any other vessel.
